Claire Cameron Band have a dynamic and compelling stage presence; with Claire fronting the band on piano and vocals, distinctive guitarist Pete Nash, the superb Mike James on Bass, and striking drummer Jim Gaylard.
It has been a busy year for Claire Cameron Band with live performances at Limetree Festival, 100 Club, BOMFEST, 360 Club (recorded live for Festival TV and interviewed by Alan Raw, of BBC West Yorkshire Introducing on BBC Radio Leeds: see the performance on Youtube), PUNK and Leeds Festival Fringe going down a storm.
CCB took to the stage as a full electric band on Friday 30th September for their first London headline gig at 100 Club. While this was their first official headline slot in London, it was their third gig in London this year, having played at The Bowery in March and PUNK, Soho in July.
Following in the footsteps of The Rolling Stones, Paul Weller and Sinead O’Connor, CCB played at this iconic venue for the popular Friday 'Future Rock' night put on by Feedme Music, and the band blew the roof off with their electrifying set! AMP Magazine reviewed the performance here and Borin Van Loon has put a review up of the show as well.
Claire Cameron Band have already been invited back to play another headline show at 100 club on 27th January, and they performed at the launch night of Leeds Digital Festival on 1st November.
Frontwoman and manager, Claire said 'We couldn't be more delighted to be playing at the opening night of this years LDF. We're really keen to support events like this which bring the digital and creative community together to celebrate the skills and creativity Leeds has to offer.'
